Introduction

If anyone knows me, they know that I am an avid fan of Japanime. Right now, I am super psyched with the G4 channel. They just premiered the new versions of Iron Man and Wolverine. These icons have been redone with the anime art. They also are doing a run with a new thought out story that is taking place in Japan for both characters. Even though I used to watch all of the old Marvel cartoons, like X-Men and Spiderman, they were done in an American animation style that, in my eyes, was lacking, especially when it came to the action. Japanime just has superior, over the top, action sequences that are better fitting for super heroes.

Marvel did something really cool and took an existing product and made it better. Actions like that aren't a new concept. They are seen in everyday products all of the time, from home appliances to computer components. Reference boards are made from the original component creator, then it is up to secondary companies to take those designs and make them their own. These differences are what set each company apart and sell product. One of the most popular methods to sell components, especially video cards, is factory overclocks that don't void warranties.

The Diamond Multimedia Radeon HD 6770 XOC has those factory overclocks. The 6770 XOC comes with a 50 MHz overclock on both the core and memory over the original stock model. This sets the core at 900 MHz and the memory at 1250MHz. Onboard is 1GB of GDDR5 memory with a maximum bandwidth of 80.0 Gbps. The 6770 XOC still retains all of the stock board's crucial features. The 6770 supports DX 11, OpenGL 3.2, AMD Eyefinity, AMD Crossfire, and AMD HD3D. Inputs include a DVI-I, DVI-DL, HDMI 1.4a, and Display Port. There is also dynamic power management with ATI PowerPlay technology.
