Introduction

Whether you're aware of it or not, storage media has become a part of everyday life. Most of the gadgets and gizmos on the market have to save some kind of information anymore. And how many of us carry at least one flash drive on us? I usually have two or three about me for various tasks. And we encounter it even when we really do not think about it, like when surfing the net. Those pages have got to be kept somewhere right?

And most of the stuff we store is on hard drives that are in our computers and laptops. Have you ever stopped to think about how many hard drives there are in a large business? It makes my head hurt. But one problem with hard drives is that they are not easy to swap out. If you're like me, you have data on multiple hard drives and having to set it up in the computer and then take it out is a chore. Or the flash drives on the market are just not feasible for the amount of data that you have to transport. And it would be easier, and cheaper, if you could just take a hard drive back and forth.
