The Wildfire SATA III SSD is sold as an enthusiast level (120GB) upgrade from spindle to SSD and will be tested as such.
Standard benchmarks will be used to show the comparable throughputs for both read and write, linear and sequential, 4K….. However, the focus will be on the effects these benchmark numbers have in your real world usage. Numbers are nice, but it’s what those numbers do (or don’t do) that is what we are looking for.
