Reviewer’s Opinion

With Power2Go 8 in your arsenal of software, gone will be the days of lost or compromised data using Power2Go’s 128/256 bit key encryption technology, utilized in a simple, easy to use interface that even the most novice user will be able to use. Making backup images of your entire system is also a very simple undertaking, especially if you happen to have a BD burner and use the BD media to keep the amount of discs used to a minimum.

The creation of Video Discs with menus, audio CDs and DVDs, and Photo Gallery Slideshows has never been easier, across the board, when using Cyberlink's Power2Go 8. They may have never been the most difficult of tasks, but there was always some jumping through hoops, now all easily accessible under one single interface. Using the wave editor to clean up audio tracks or add entertaining effects was a fun way to keep the kids interested when looking at precious memories of them when they were younger.

Creating photo slideshows, videos with interactive menus, and backing up your system has never been easier than now with Power2Go 8. Cyberlink has done a tremendous job of keeping things that might be considered, by many users, as an arduous task, down to a simple 1, 2, 3 step by step undertaking. The drag and drop functionality of Power2Go is top notch, not once did I have any issues using any of the features offered in this software bundle.

Pros:

  • Extremely easy to use
  • Ready-to-use free templates and effects available
  • Audio Editing
  • BD, DVD and CD creation
  • Drag and Drop feature
  • System Recovery Tool
  • Virtual Drive

Cons:

  • none
