Page 1 of 7 Day three was an early start again. My first meeting was at 9:00 am so I’m glad that I got to bed early the night before. Most of my meetings were at the convention center so there would not be too much traveling between appointments. I was at the convention center at 8:30 am but forgot that press could not enter until exactly 9 so I decided to go to the press room and upload my pics from the night before and have a cup of coffee. Well, the cup of coffee was great but the internet connection timed out on me 5 times. Ouch!
NVIDIA My first stop on day three was Nvidia, I had worked with them in the past, but as a new site didn’t know what to expect. Again I was surprised - I had a great reception and should be working with Nvidia again. While at Nvidia, I looked at some great software which included BadaBoom, Cyberlink and their DVD suite, vReveal and Arcsoft. All of these programs are optimized for Nvidia Cuda, which uses your graphics processor to process videos, photos and anything to do with multimedia. These programs compress, convert, despeckle and upconvert video to HD all using Nvidia Cuda. HTL will be reviewing all these software suites. After looking at the software suites, I decided to take a walk over to the 3D viewer and watch as they played Guitar Hero in 3D. Nvidia has just released new 3D glasses for gaming called GForce 3D Vision. I have played Guitar Hero in the past, but never in 3D, and all I could say is WOW! Amazing, once you use the new Nvidia 3D glasses to game, you will never leave home without them.
