  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4

"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the Apple iPad family continues to be the dominating force in the world of tablets, but the rest of us know that we have plenty of Android options to consider too. Among the most recent contenders in this touchtastic battle arena is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, the first ever tablet from Samsung that boasts the company's signature Super AMOLED technology. It comes in both 8.4-inch and 10.5-inch variations; aside from the screen and battery size, the two models are otherwise identically-spec'd. Let's have a closer look."

  • OCZ RevoDrive 350 480GB PCIe SSD Full Review

"With the recent acquisition by Toshiba, it was only a matter of time before OCZ revamped the RevoDrive line with their new flash. It just makes sense, as Toshiba can be obtained much more readily (and cheaply) since they are now an in-house source for OCZ. With the Vector 150 and Vertex 460 already driving 19nm Toshiba flash, we now have the RevoDrive 350."

"Music is such an important part of many people's lives, as we speak I am listening to an awesome playlist that helps me concentrate when writing reviews. When you have great music you want to share it with your friends. Well Wicked Audio knows this and they have come up with the Heist, which is a set of earbuds that have an in-line audio connection so that you can connectanother set of headphones or earbuds to share your music. While this is a great idea these earbuds cost under $20 so we will have to see just how well they sound."

  • ARCTIC S113BT Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review

    NikkTech

"One thing that we all admit is that Bluetooth connectivity opened new horizons for many things related to wireless data transmission and although i do think it still has a long way to go before it's capable of doing things we only see in the movies it has reached levels we didn't really think possible a decade ago. One of the markets especially influenced by Bluetooth connectivity has been the audio electronics one since it (along with Wi-Fi in the case of Apple) allowed the design and manufacture of both wireless headsets and speakers just in time for the smartphone revolution. Granted at first the available products were not what one would call impressive and had numerous flaws (although back then they weren't really seen as such) but nowadays we see many decent offerings by a very large number of manufacturers established and not. ARCTIC may not new to Bluetooth connectivity since we've seen compatible headsets by them in the past but today is the first time we're taking a look at a portable wireless speaker by them the S113BT."

  • Crucial MX100 512GB SSD Review

    NikkTech

"As technology progresses prices for current and previous generation devices keep falling and that has allowed solid state drives (SSDs) to become mainstream quite faster than many of us had hoped for when we first started to receive the very first ones to appear in the market roughly 6 years ago. Of course compared to regular mechanical hard disk drives (HDDs) the difference in price/capacity ratio is still somewhat large but at least now one can get an high performance 256GB SSD model for less than 0.7$ per GB. Price however is not the only thing that has improved the standing of SSDs in the market since with the appearance of 1TB models and the recent announcement of 2TB ones professionals can now have superior read & write speeds at very large capacities (always compared to the past). Crucial just recently announced their own offering for such audiences the mid-end MX100 SSD model which is currently available in 128,256 and 512GB capacities (with us we have the 512GB model)."

  • Netgear Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router Preview

    Benchmark Reviews

"Netgear unveiled their newest wireless router on June 25th and they didn't pull any punches with this product introduction. The Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band WiFi Router (R8000) builds on the latest 5G Wi-Fi XStream technology from Broadcom and captures the crown for fastest consumer Wi-Fi router, if only for a while. On the surface, the most notable improvement is the addition of another 5 GHz 802.11ac band, stepping outside the dual-band architecture that has dominated the marketplace for more than five years."

  • EVGA Torq X10 Gaming Mouse Preliminary Review

"This review comes before the end of the pre-order period. The reason why I targeted that deadline is because the pre-order perks are quite significant. First, either version of the mouse is listed for about $50 off of its MSRP (which is half price for the plastic version). EVGA also throws in a mouse pad for registering your purchase. The plastic mouse is $49.99 during its pre-order period ($99.99 MSRP) and its carbon fiber alternative is $79.99 ($129.99 MSRP). EVGA has supplied us with the plastic version for review."

  • Intel Core i7-4790K (Devil's Canyon) CPU Review featuring Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 5

"Last month Intel launched their Z97 chipset, essentially an evolution of Z87, which in many cases brought new features such as SATA Express and M.2 compatibility to the mainstream desktop market. There was of course no new CPU at that time with the existing socket 1150 processors working without issue in the new boards. Since then though Intel launched (along with some lower spec models) the Core i7-4790K, a model which sits at the top of their mainstream platform. Today we see how it compares to various other models when installed on Gigabytes Z97X Gaming 5 and paired with PowerColors new dual core 290X Devil 13."

  • Lenovo ThinkPad 10 Windows 8.1 Bay Trail Tablet Review

"As a followup to its ThinkPad 8 tablet, Lenovo has now incorporated Intel's Bay Trail platform into its larger ThinkPad 10, a business-ready slate the company claims can offer users a full PC experience. Stopping there would be selling this tablet a bit short, however, as it's really a multi-mode device that can serve a number of purposes, both during and after business hours. Ideally, this would negate the need to purchase separate systems for work and play. What Lenovo's really doing here is tapping into the potential of Microsoft's Windows 8.1 ecosystem. From the beginning, Microsoft envisioned Windows 8/8.1 as a universal operating system built for work, play, and everything in between, but software will only get you so far. It's up to Microsoft's hardware partners to figure out how best to take advantage of Windows 8.1, and with the ThinkPad 10, Lenovo's answer is to accessorize the platform."

  • Corsair Graphite Series 730T Case Review

    Think Computers

"As time has passed, Corsair has stood by a code of "Quality" above all else. This code has made them a leader in Computer Cases and with AIO (All in One) water cooling systems like the Hydro-series that are commonly used worldwide. The company is great with their customers after the sale as well with a winning customer service that is extremely pleasing to the end user and builds more sales by giving confidence that when someone buys a Corsair Product they are buying Quality and Reliability and that is what makes Corsair the Great Company that it is. Look for a 3 week turnaround on returns or replacement. The 730t Graphite Series case is a brand new edition to the Graphite family of Corsair cases. The 730t Full Tower case is new to the market and has not quite caught on yet but we have a feeling that this along with his big brother the 760t cases will be a hit with modders and builders alike."
