To test the Patriot PBO Alpine, I put the unit through all of its various functions and capabilities. HD and SD video playback were tested with a hard wired USB source, as well as streaming from the internet and local network. Music playback of various file formats was tested with a USB source as well as streaming and across a local network. Included Internet Media Services were checked for correct functionality. Abilities of the Android 2.2 OS was checked for compatibility of available apps, and hardware compatibility with standard USB devices.
