The Gigabyte P55M-UD4The Gigabyte P55M-UD4 board comes packaged in Gigabyte's white box with large green type, revealing the product inside. On this one, the Ultra Durable logo almost overpowers the text. The back of the box explains what Ultra Durable is. Opening the box reveals the accessories that come with the motherboard itself. Once they are removed, and the cardboard separator is taken off, the motherboard can be found packaged in an anti-static bag.
Once removed from the anti-static bag, the motherboard and its onboard components are revealed. This is new - a plate on the back of the motherboard, the LGA 775 didn't have this.
Here is a closer look at the socket and some of the solid capacitors. There are four Memory slots, as well as a 24-pin connector for your power supply, 7 SATA connectors and 1 IDE connector.
