Page 1 of 7 IntroductionI absolutely hate when people install things wrong. I am a new home owner and, luckily, I grew up in a family of handy men. So I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to repairing things and troubleshooting problems. Well, since I've owned the house, I've always had a problem with the dishwasher and dishes looking like crap. At first, I chalked it up to the hard water in the house, as there is a white film that covers anything my water touched. However, about 2 weeks ago I ended up splurging on a water softener. I decided to dabble in plumbing and installed it myself. Little did I realize that I had 60 years worth of plumbing in my basement. Did a good job too. This actually ended up INCREASING the problem with the dishes. They came out worse than before. I figured now I had a broken dishwasher. However, I knew it was relatively new and wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. So during each wash cycle, I opened up the front door to check out what was going on. Low and behold, the water was COLD!!!! Looked under the sink and, sure enough, the previous owner installed it on the COLD WATER LINE! I don't know if he was dumb, or just trying to save money, but it was completely wrong and could have potentially broken the sensors inside the dishwasher. A quick switcheroo, and all was right. The water was hot, and the dishes came out clean and sparkling.
One thing that remained constant through all of my troubles was that I kept all expenses to a minimum, while getting the most for my money. The water softener was great quality and on sale at an awesome price at Menards. I was able to troubleshoot and repair the dishwasher without dropping a single dime on anything new, as all the equipment was there, and I gained a new plumbing experience. I am the same way when it comes to computer part shopping. I look for the best value and try to keep my expenses to a minimum. I want the most for my money, whatever my budget may be. Arctic Cooling has a few peripherals that fit the bill.
The Arctic M551 Gaming mouse combines value and functionality. The M551 is for the gamer on a budget. Arctic loaded the M551 with ultra high sensitivity. This can be toggled on the fly to 800, 1600, or 2400 DPI. The M551 has a total of five functional buttons. There are back and forward buttons that hide on the left side, under the thumb. Slick gliding feet offer low resistance and the laser has pinpoint accuracy. The Arctic M551 can be purchased in white or black styling.
