Page 1 of 8 IntroductionGaming mice have been a growing industry as the demands of gamers have been on the rise. Gamers need more DPI, faster polling rates and the likes, in order to keep up with the fast pace of the new and upcoming generation of games. I myself, having played a variety of games, from first person shooters (FPS) to real-time strategy games (RTS), as well as massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG), know that every little bit can make a huge difference in your overall game experience and ability.
Extreme gaming, that's what it's all about. The Mionix Naos 5000 offers gamers a whole slew of useful features and customizability. From its 5040 DPI laser sensor and 7 fully customizable buttons to self-programmable macros, the Naos 5000 is indeed a gamer's heaven. The Naos also features an ergonomic design to minimize the wear and tear on the user, allowing for longer, more comfortable gaming, which results in an overall more enjoyable gaming experience .
By now, you must be thinking to yourself, what in the world is a Naos? The name Naos was inspired by a blue super giant star within our galaxy. Why would they name their mouse after a star? Well, after looking through Mionix's other products, and seeing that their slogan is "Light-years ahead of the game," I realized that Mionix has a nice little theme going, naming all their products after stars in our galaxy. Now let's see if the Mionix Naos 5000 can live up to being a star and see how this baby shines.
