Review Philosophy

In this review, Hi Tech Legion will benchmark the NVIDIA GTX 570 using the Hi Tech Legion benchmark suite. Added for comparison, we will also include benchmarks using the Sapphire Radeon HD 5970, Sapphire Radeon HD 5870, AMD Radeon HD 6870, EVGA GeForce GTX 480, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470. All benchmarks will be run on one system and will be tested with the most recent drivers, firmware and BIOS. Hi Tech Legion does not use a database to store its numbers for future use, so all the benchmarks you will see in this review have been performed within the time allotted. (GTX 580 and 480 will use benchmarks taken from GTX 580 review, HTL has spoken to NVIDIA and has determined that there have been no distinctive differences in drivers. This is a one time deal.)
