The saga of E.D.N. III continues in CAPCOM's Lost Planet 2, taking place 10 years after the successful terraforming of the frozen world. Now, lush jungles, large stretches of desert and populated cities make up the geographic landscape of E.D.N. III. The dangers are far from over, however, as the warmer climes only served to make life easier for the mercenaries, raiders and a new NEVEC to strengthen their numbers. The warmer temperatures also gave rise to newer, tougher Akrid species evolving quickly to adapt in their ever changing homeworld. As a snow pirate, you have access to a vast arsenal to take on all adversaries, including the most advanced mechanized battle suits designed not only to survive in a firefight but also to survive the hostile planet environment.
