Page 1 of 5 IntroductionAs a society, we are constantly on the go. In constant motion, we require a multitude of devices from phones and media devices to portable game consoles. We've come to rely on these devices to keep us up to date on what our friends are up to and what is going on in the world. Over the years our cellphones have become more and more of a necessity in our lives over the other devices. Ten years ago if I had left the house without my cellphone, I'd have to be pretty close to turn back for it. Now, it almost comes down to a panic attack of what to do when it is not near me. When it works, I barely keep in mind how often I'm checking RSS, email, headlines or any other feed I am instantly connected to at the tap of my finger.
When it doesn't work I find myself almost lost, feeling disconnected from the digital flow that invisibly coats our world like a binary blanket. I do everything I can to prevent this, and have a pretty set schedule on when I need to charge. At home I have wires all over to ensure that each device is plugged in and charged up to full. My game consoles in one section next to my mp3 player, and my phone has it's special spot next to my bed where it doubles as my alarm clock. When I get to work I have a dock setup there just in case I need a recharge. This is all well and good, but all the best laid plans get thrown out the window when it comes down to being outside our usual sphere of operations. As we find ourselves traveling or ending up in unexpected circumstances, a device without power can quickly become a much larger issue.
The Choiix Power Fort affords the simplicity of a power source without needing the outlet. The Choiix Power Fort is a pocket sized charger that is able to charge any USB device at the same rate as the standard wall plug would provide, which can be up to 3 times as quickly as it would charge through standard USB. Perfect for the traveler, the wall plug can be switched out to fit many international standards and even include a car charger. So even in the busiest and mobile times in our lives, we can be assured that no matter what life throws at us, our devices will still be at arms reach and ready for action.
