Page 1 of 7 IntroductionWhat is going on with the weather this summer? For those of you that don't know I live in Milwaukee Wisconsin. We just went from brutal heat and humidity, to raging storms and flooding, to an absolutely perfect weekend. It's almost pointless to watch the weathermen on TV seeing they can't correctly gauge the weather past 6 hours. I'm better off looking out my window or taking a step out on the porch and guess how I think it will turn out. They say rain on Friday, but come Friday it'll probably snow.
One thing this season has going for it is heat, which doesn't play to well on computer systems and especially when it comes to laptops. These self contained portable wonders are regular furnaces. Well, at least mine is but that's because it's a gaming laptop. There is a decent processor, hard drive, and GPU inside. One good gaming session and you can fry an egg underneath the casing. Definitely not a laptop you want to keep on your bare lap while processing anything intense.
The Cooler Master NotePal U3 ups the ante from their U2 model. The NotePal U3 retains the same design but adds another fan for triple the performance. The NotePal U3 keeps the same aluminum mesh design for optimal flow and heat dissipation. Rubber feet and bumpers keep both the laptop secure as well as the base secure to any surface. All three fans have customizable locations and are powered with a single pass-through USB connection. The fans are connected to a clip-on fan controller that can be placed on either side of the NotePal U3. The NotePal U3 poises to be the last notebook cooler you will ever need.
