Page 1 of 7 IntroductionIt seems like I have been getting quite a few laptop coolers lately to review, meaning that the market for laptop accessories is far from dropping. Each cooler has had its own particular style or functional appeal. Everything from ergonomics and cooling, to portability, have been a major factor in their worth and appeal. Let’s face the fact that a cooler is going to cool better than stock to some extent, whether small or large, but how it looks or feels can differ from cooler to cooler. Now, a person can go one of two ways with their notebook cooler selection, ergonomics or style.
I tend to be concerned with performance and style with a lot of my accessories. I tend to like unique approaches to appearance from cars all the way to computer cases and accessories. So when I was told I would be reviewing the new cooler from Antec, and having seen pictures of what it looked like, I actually got a little excited about doing another laptop cooler review.
The Antec Notebook Cooler 200 melds performance and style for a cooler with some attitude. The Antec Notebook Cooler 200 cools up to a 17” laptop with a nice incline for viewing and typing. Much attention was paid to the overall appearance of this sleekly designed cooler, and the mirrored surface pads, along with the blue LED 200mm fan, add a real flair to an accessory that can tend to be anything but interesting to look at.
