Page 1 of 6 IntroductionWhat ever happened to the old days of baseball where games would go on irregardless of the weather. Players are so pampered these days it's sickening. I am a huge Cubs fan and when you play Wrigley field, it's almost expected to be in the elements. They just recently had a series against the Giants and 2 games where postponed due to rain. I get the first game that was on Saturday night. It was raining cats and dogs, so they called it during the 6th inning. However, their next game, Sunday afternoon, was an excellent day with only a few light sprinkles that passed fairly quickly. I had to vent as I quickly got everything done I had to do for the day, and was ready to watch the game, only to find out it wasn't on.
It's now time for round two with Cooler Master releases. They have seemed to wedge into a nice niche with notebook coolers. Their span ranges from budget coolers, like the X-Lite, to the high performance and more pricey coolers, like the SF-19 Strike Force. Out of all of the coolers they offer, I actually tend to prefer their middle of the line coolers. They seem to offer that nice blend of price, performance, and features. The only issue that I have seen with their lineup is that they tend not to be very "lap friendly". The focus seemed to be more on the performance side of things.
This is changing with the Cooler Master NotePal LapAir Notebook Cooler. The NotePal LapAir puts a new bit of versatility in the Cooler Master lineup. The LapAir comes with a near noiseless fan with exceptional cooling performance. There is a sponge mat on the bottom for a new level of lap comfort. Cooler Master included a removable mesh grill on the top, over the fan, for easy cleaning access. To power the LapAir, there is a USB connector that also acts as a pass through so the laptop doesn't lose a USB port. There are also groves underneath for easy USB cable management. The LapAir is compatible with all laptops up to 17 inches.
