Page 1 of 10 IntroductionFall is officially here. Now is the time for apple picking, hay rides, and Halloween. The leaves are starting to change color just a tiny bit. The temperatures are slowly dropping to comfortable levels. Time to turn off the air conditioners and open up the windows, once again. The wind has just started picking up in my area. It makes mowing the lawn a heck of a lot nicer as, even with the sun in your face, the cool breeze makes up for it. But you know the most important thing about Fall? Football season!! Dun dun dun dun....... sorry my cheap typing attempt at the Monday night football theme.
If you don't know about Arctic Cooling, here is a bit of background info from their website. "ARCTIC COOLING is a privately owned company founded in 2001 with headquarters in Switzerland, offices in Hong Kong and the USA and production facilities in Asia. The ARCTIC COOLING team consists of international highly educated people with business, technical and communication skills. The attitude to work is based on Swiss principles of innovative spirit and high standards of workmanship for which it is recognized internationally. This striving for excellence is integrated in all processes as a matter of course. ARCTIC COOLING´s core competencies are multifarious including systematic noise reduction, copper and aluminum heatsink development, customization of thermal solutions, as well as designing quiet fans. More recently quiet and cool PC Cases and Power Supplies have been developed."
One of AC's top of the line products is the Arctic Accelero XTREME Plus. The Accelero XTREME Plus is a multi-compatible, high performance GPU cooler. A key feature is the Accelero XTREME Plus' ability to cool up to 250 Watts, quietly. This is done with three 92mm PWM fans with low noise impellers and a gigantic heatsink that sports 5 copper heatpipes and 84 fins. The Accelero XTREME Plus can fit just about every high end GPU from both Nvidia and AMD currently on the market, with the right accessory kit.
