Page 1 of 6 IntroductionWhenever you have problems with a computer, you must perform the needed tasks to find out what exactly the problem is and diagnose it properly, somewhat like a doctor. You go to a doctor, you are sick, and they make sure it is properly taken care of. That's what we have here, we are going to perform and make sure this computer doesn't get a fever, and if so, we have the medicine to reduce the temperature and bring it back to normal.
Now, the towering appearance of this heatsink scared me at first, I will admit that. But, as I mentioned before, the important thing is making sure that the computer's temperature is in control. If there's heat, there's going to be a problem. Too much heat would result with computer responding slowly, freezing, and ultimately the system will flat out fry. Heatsinks are one of the most important things to have in your computer system.
Thermaltake's TMG IA1 looks like the Hulk. The TMG IA1 by Thermaltake may look intimidating at first, but it's completely harmless. The bulkiness of this heatsink can discourage a novice setting up their own computer for their first time, but if there is a will, there's a way. Thermaltake's reputation is strong when it comes to heatsinks, and computer components in general. The heatsink has four copper bars, and the bulkiness of the design is for conducting the heat coming from the CPU effectively and also, at the same time, the surfaces dissipate the heat. Let's find out if this medicine will tame the fever.
