NZXT Sentry 2 Performance Touch Screen 5.25" Fan Controller Review - Installation

Installation

Installation of  The NZXT Sentry 2 Performance Touch Screen 5.25" Fan Controller is fairly easy and straightforward. Insert the Sentry 2 into the drive bay. I used the provided screws on both sides even though I have a screwless case. This was because most older screwless cases use pressure as a means to keep things in the bay and all it does is bend the sides inwards on the Sentry 2 seeing there is no base or top to provide support to the sides.

After that I plugged the power into an open molex cable. Each chassis fan plugs into the clearly labeled 3 pin or molex plugs. The temperature sensors are places in strategic locations to monitor the various system temperatures and held down with the provided tape. Each of the temperature sensors are also clearly labeled to correspond with the fan number.

For my setup I used the following fan placement and the following temperature sensor placement. Because I have an older case I do not have enough fans to fill up the controller entirely.
