Page 1 of 6 IntroductionOk, so you’ve gone out and bought that fancy gaming case. You know, the one equipped with more fans than you can shake a stick at. Now what? Wouldn’t it be nice to have some clue about how they are operating, and what their effect on your system is? How about actually being able to control their speed and correlate that to temperature? What you need, my friend, is a fan controller, a device that provides real-time feedback and control. It wouldn’t hurt for it to be in a snazzy package either. Well you asked, and NZXT delivered. The NZXT Sentry LX High Performance Fan Controller is the ultimate answer to your multi-fan control conundrum. This two-bay fan control solution features a large color LCD display which provides real-time information for up to five fans, as well as five associated temperature sensors. The Sentry LX Fan Controller features two modes of operation, including automatic mode where the system adjusts the fan speeds for you, and manual mode, allowing the user to set each individual fan and save settings to memory. The NZXT Fan Controller also includes a temperature alarm that will alert you if your system is overheating. Finally, the Sentry LX includes a large time and date display, conveniently located right on the front of your case.
The ProductThe NZXT Sentry LX comes packaged in a compact 7 ½” x 6 ½” x 4 ¼” box. The front shows a picture of the controller in operation, including its slick multi-fan display. Key features highlighted here include “5 Fan Control” “5 Temperature Sensors” “Auto/Manual Control” “Time Date Day” “Temp Alarm” and “C/F Settings”. The back of the box features another picture of the controller, along with detailed specifications and a short informative paragraph.
