My daughter has just set a new record for amount of sleep during the night. We ended up putting her down at around 8pm, and she finally woke up at 6:40am. I think fate wanted to give me a good night because this couldn't have come at a better time. I am not counting on it happening again anytime soon. HTL has been working endlessly with countless NDA products to have everything in order for the Ivy Bridge launch. This means lots of missed sleep and angry spouses. Wouldn't you know it, Cooler Master has decided on a launch the very next day. I wonder if it was planned, or just coincidence.
Cooler Master has had big hits in the case market with their HAF series. For those not in the loop, HAF stands for "High Air Flow". All of the cases within the series contain high end cooling features. The HAF X sits at the top with tremendous praise from enthusiasts and gamers. It is the flagship case of the series. They've also released the HAF 900's to fit various budgets, and loaded them with various features. Those cases have all gotten many positive comments. The HAF series seems to have the best blend of price and features. Cooler Master is about to inject another stunner into the HAF world.
The Cooler Master HAF XM takes the best of the HAF X, and shrinks it to mid tower size. The HAF XM comes stocked with all of the high end features an enthusiast needs. Cooling with the HAF XM is no problem. Cooler Master has included a front 200mm intake LED fan, top 200mm fan, and rear 140mm exhaust fan. The front comes loaded with two X-Docks for easy hard drive swaps and access. The top is removable and exposes an area that can house a dual radiator, or various configurations of 200mm, 140mm, and 120mm fans. The top also includes a little tray with a rubber bottom for holding various things. Internally, the drive bays are tool free. The HAF XM has three 5.25" bays and six 3.5" bays. With the combination of the X-Docks and the internal bays, the HAF XM can total eight 3.5" hard drives. Hidden on the back of the motherboard tray is an optional 2.5" mount. With that, the HAF XM can also total nine 2.5" drives. The case has a bottom mount PSU and next to that is a cable shield to conceal extra wiring. The HAF XM motherboard tray comes with a full size cut out for heat sink swaps, and routing holes with rubber protectors.
