For most of my life, I have been the adventurous type and a maverick of sorts, and sometimes it put me in situations that, trust me, you would not want to be in as a kid growing up in Brooklyn. I grew up not far from the Democratic Club and across the street from the Navy Yard; living there, you immediately found out that choosing sides was the only way to survive. In my neighborhood, you were either a crook or a cop, and I choose the latter, following in the footsteps of my father and his father before him. They both migrated here from Italy in the 1920s to the land where the streets were paved with gold. Little did I know then, following that path would bring me more than I bargained for.

My saving grace was at the age of twenty three when I received a letter in the mail from Uncle Sam who informed me that I had been drafted into the U.S. Army, and to report to White Hall street for my physical, which I passed with flying colors. There is an old saying that goes "The Army will make you or break you." This saying holds true, as it helped shape me and make me who I am today. I went on to Advanced Infantry training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and decided that this would be my chosen career. I re-enlisted and was transferred to Fort Benning, Georgia, to train and join the ranks of the Elite, the 101st Airborne, at that time under the command of General Westmoreland, United States Army. Cooler Master, as one of the major case manufacturers, has entered the ranks of the Elite by introducing into their ranks of the performance chassis series, the Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus a Mid-Tower chassis in its Elite class of cases.

The new Cooler Master Elite 431 PLUS Mid-Tower chassis brings with it the Cooler Master expertise with some of the high-end features that you don't usually see in the budget field of cases. The Elite 431 PLUS is a steel and plastic design, that comes with a tough yet clean look, and includes a side door window, 7 expansion slots, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, X Dock Station, and some toolless retention. The Cooler Master Elite 431 PLUS has 1 pre-installed front 120mm blue LED front intake fan, and a total of 5 available fan positions for good air flow. The Elite 431 PLUS is very light weight for a steel chassis, coming in at just eleven pounds, and, with its small foot print of just 7.6" W X 16.8" H X 19.6" D, it takes up very little space, yet able to house the larger air coolers, such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 PLUS at 6.4 inches. The Elite 431 PLUS will also accommodate the longer video cards with 12.4 inches of room. There are a total of three models to choose from in this performance series, starting with the Cooler Master Elite 431 Basic, the Cooler Master Elite 431, and the Cooler Master Elite 431 PLUS.
