The Sharkoon USB3.0 (SuperSpeed) Host Controller Card comes in a black cardboard box. The front of the box has USB3.0 in big bold letters with a faded picture of the controller card underneath the text. The rear of the box has the features listed in 9 different languages. Inside the box, the Sharkoon USB3.0 Controller Card is wrapped in an anti-static bag.
The Sharkoon USB3.0 Host Controller Card is tiny. On the PCB, you can see Sharkoon used the NEC µPD720200 chip. This controller card also fits in a PCIe-x1 slot in any motherboard. The two USB3.0 Ports are combined with the PCIe 2.0 so that it can conform to Intel xHCI-rev0.96 specifications.
The I/O panel has two USB3.0 ports that have the light blue coloring. The side of the controller card has a 4 pin Molex connector needed for extra power to the USB3.0 ports.
