First Look: NVIDIA Announces New Physx Titles E-mail

Last Thursday and Friday, Hi Tech Legion attended NVIDIA press conferences covering new and upcoming games for Physx. These press conferences introduced us to some popular game developers and who introduced their upcoming games optimized for PhysX by NVIDIA. These games will utilize the new Apex that were introduced last month at GDC by NVIDIA.

Game Developers from the following Manufacturers attended:

  • Capcom for Dark Void (Airtight Games)
  • Grin for Terminator Salvation
  • 8 Monkey Labs for Darkest of Days 

 

 Dark Void

 

On Day on e of the press conference we heard from Capcom who will be releasing a game called Dark Void. Dark Void will take full advantage of the Turbulence APEX. It will use the Unreal 3 Engine and will be a First Person Shooter but you will be using a Jet Pack which will enable you to fly at will in order to Frag your enemies.

Dark Void will be an all Western Development game that allows the player total freedom to utilize a jet pack to engage in ground combat, strafe, attack vertically this allows total user involvement.
