NVIDIA GF100 - Fermi - Architecture Revealed E-mail

Expectations are high considering NVIDIA announced their newest Graphics solution “Fermi” almost three months ago. The new line of NVIDIA based DirectX11 video cards are being prepared to make market in Q1. NVIDIA doesn’t deny that they are late with this new architecture considering their competitor ATI has already come to market with their version of a Direct X 11 GPU solution.

NVIDIA GF100, Microscopic View

The GF100 (Graphics Fermi) series of video solutions will host many new technological features as well as many proven. The new GT100 series of GPUs will still support CUDA, DirectCompute, CUDA C++, OpenCL, PhysX and Optix Ray Tracing but the compute engine will be more streamlined and able to process commands more efficiently.

With the new design NVIDIA is projecting the "Fermi " GPU will provide improved geometric realism, increased image quality and provide revolutionary GPU compute for gaming and will consist of:
