Gigabyte has been hard at work in their labs designing the next biggest update in their motherboard line: Ultra Durable 5. Gigabyte did not stop there however and decided that providing massive connectivity possibilities on their upcoming motherboards in the form of Intel's Thunderbolt is the right idea. They believe in it so much that Gigabyte is providing DUAL Thunderbolt capability on their Z77X-UP5 TH and Z77X-UP4 TH motherboards designed for the latest Ivy Bridge processors. This translates to a performance equivalent to daisy chaining up to 12 devices simultaneously in a bi-directional 10Gbps pipeline!
