Hi Tech Legion was created to assist everyone and anyone with questions about computers, computer hardware and software, as well as new and upcoming technologies that may affect everyday life.

Hi Tech Legion's mission is to support anyone who seeks knowledge, has knowledge, or just would like to be part of our community.  You will have a place. In our forums, no one will be described as a noob; it is our goal to make you feel as comfortable as possible and not to intimidate. There will always be someone with more knowledge, but here, those with the knowledge will assist you with your needs.

The staff of Hi Tech Legion has been selected based on knowledge and willingness to teach and learn at the same time. Hi Tech Legion will provide its community with up-to-date product reviews on not only computer hardware and software but other items including home theaters and gadgets. For those of you who choose a Mac environment, it will be a goal to also provide as much information as we can. No one should be left out! Many communities focus on a specific audience, but Hi Tech Legion will focus on all.

So why was the name Hi Tech Legion chosen? For many reasons, but two we feel stand out, Hi Tech, was chosen because of the products about which you will come to learn, read, and discuss. Legion was chosen because, like a legion, we are one with the many who own technology and want to better understand how to use it. Remember, approximately five percent of the population can honestly call themselves “Computer Literate,” but the other ninety-five percent consider themselves computer knowledgeable. We should all feel at home with the many and be part of the Legion.

After many years of working in some capacity for other computer related websites, the founders of Hi Tech Legion decided to provide a community that everyone can enjoy. We have combined the knowledge and experience from our past employ and feel that all we learned can, and will, contribute to create a community for the many and not just the few.

Hi Tech Legion would like to help everyone become enthusiastic about technology and computers without having to be an “Enthusiast," so please come enjoy the Hi Tech Legion community and learn, teach, be enthused, and be one with the many.
