For one reason or another, most of us have seen blogs, comments, and other 'errata' online, suggesting that the future of the PC desktop has stalled, and that the future landscape of desktop PC will be taking a back seat with today's current demands and modern mainstream digital lifestyle. This is absolutely not the case, especially when one considers news from the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, earlier today. At GDC 2014, The “Intel Corporation unveiled a set of roadmap enhancements, platform features and software partnerships to help drive the reinvention of desktop computing.”
At the Game Developers Conference, in San Francisco earlier today, NVIDIA announces that they have teamed up with Crytek to add support for several NVIDIA GameWorks technologies to its hit free-to-play online first-person shooter “Warface,”. Simply put, if your into fraggin away with smoke and particles from explosions, and falling debris, causing the type of 'havoc' that makes gaming so much fun, your definitely going to dig this!
