Diamond Radeon HD 5770 XOC Edition Video Card Review

Do you get scared when you hear the word "overclock"? I know I used to. Long ago, when I was first getting into computers, I learned that overclocking meant the potential doom of your computer, if done wrong, not to mention...

Callpod Chargepod Mobile Device Charger Review

The Callpod Chargepod Mobile Device Charger is a seemingly simple design, a silver disc with one input and six outputs. The outputs are spaced around the disc in such a way that, when combined with the charging adapters, they can not tangle. The Callpod Chargepod Mobile Device Charger also offers the flexibility to allow for wall charging or 12v car charging.

His name struck fear and respect among the living, who were in no hurry to make his acquaintance. Hades also represents a land of darkness and mist, inhabited only by the souls of the dead.

Vantec NexStar Superspeed SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter Review

Introduction

"Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." ~ Albert Einstein. A famous quote from Einstein that has been interpreted in many ways. For me, this quote rings true to life. Why over complicate things? It does nothing but create harder problems and harder to reach answers. Einstein was able to boil down many of the vast secrets of life into a single one inch equation; E=MC2. It really doesn't get any simpler then that.

Computer Ed Radio Show (Broadcast July 25, 2010)

Computer Ed this week begins the show hoping that Apple would let the iPhone mess die but forced to go back to it again as Apple goes on the offensive trying to shift the issue to other phones. Once we get past Apples latest PR mess, Computer Ed takes a look at the ATI 5500 series refresh and specifically the 5550 with GDDR5. Taking this card in the context it was marketed, Computer Ed shows that this was a lot more than a refresh and the 5550 is now a solid choice for an entry level gaming card.

Cooler Master V6 GT CPU Cooler Review
Written by George Cella -Cella-

Introduction

The 1950s and 1960s were a much different time in the United States. Obviously, it was a simpler era without computers or cell phones, and even television was still a pretty novel idea. A tremendous icon of the era was it's automobiles. America was car crazy, and there were no conservation thoughts when the"Big Three" (GM, Ford and Chrysler) pumped out larger and larger engines designed to get you from point A to point B quicker than you had ever gotten there before. Even today many of the production vehicles of the 1950s and 1960s remain the most desired in the world.

" ASUS is usually known for its motherboards and GPUs. However, they are becoming more and more known for the peripherals they are making, too. Their monitors are growing in popularity and in performance, as are their wireless routers and access points. Today we are taking a look at a brand new one coming off the shelf. This is the ASUS RT-N16 multi-function wireless router. It is multi-function because you can choose the mode you want it to operate and because it has the ability to wirelessly share printers and USB HDDs as well. With a price tag of $92.00 from NewEgg.com (with an $18 price cut), the RT-N16 could be a steal if it can produce what it promises. "

Vantec NexStar SATA to USB 3.0 Adapter Review @ OCIA

" Why is USB 3.0 a big deal? Well to some it might not be... yet. It is rather new, so not many machines out there have it. If your machine doesn't have it, providing you have the room in your case, you can get an adapter card. USB 2.0 has a peak speed of 480MB/sec while USB 3.0 has a peak speed of 5Gb/sec. Those numbers speak for themselves. In this case Vantec revised their SATA to USB 2.0 adapter that connects to the back of a drive. "

Introduction

As a society, we are constantly on the go. In constant motion, we require a multitude of devices from phones and media devices to portable game consoles. We've come to rely on these devices to keep us up to date on what our friends are up to and what is going on in the world. Over the years our cellphones have become more and more of a necessity in our lives over the other devices. Ten years ago if I had left the house without my cellphone, I'd have to be pretty close to turn back for it. Now, it almost comes down to a panic attack of what to do when it is not near me. When it works, I barely keep in mind how often I'm checking RSS, email, headlines or any other feed I am instantly connected to at the tap of my finger.

" CoolIT has become well-known for their thermoelectric (TEC) cooling solutions such as the Freezone and Freezone Elite, and appears to be heading into the more “mainstream” market of water cooling with the release of recent products. As such, the ECO C240 A.L.C. is strictly a water cooling-only product, there is no TEC technology at work here. This means the system should be simpler and more cost-effective to produce, allowing novices enter the world of water cooling very easily and affordably. "
