Does not seem like he did a good job at all.
At the very least he could have taken the 20 -30 seconds to run the Speed Test and verify the speed. The ones I had did, even when the first time out they tried to pass off a funky [refurb aka / pos modem] that lasted for about 3 minutes.

It's been a few years since I've had Bell internet but I seem to remember it was slower than advertised. Back then they only offered dial-up or 1MB DSL :D

I guess if he is showing 10-11Mbps then it is as close to the 12Mbps as you can get without major plant changes. At least you are better than 50% of CA. :D

Interesting thing is that I tried it now (it's 4 AM here and I am still not sleepy :D) and I got almost the same results:

Maybe it was a fluke, after all my speed is shaped as I pay the minimum for unlimited (as in GBs) internet. But I guess it's still good internet for that money :?.

Yup, that's half the speed you got the other day.
Still great though.

Something is messed up. Speed test gives me this result when my connection is 30mbps.

Check with my Usenet app and my download speed is 30mbps as advertised.
