ehhhh... I dont want odours/smells included with my movies, thank you

It seems like a gimmick more than anything because the only time smell is emphasized in a movie by the characters is when someone farts or theres a terrible odour :/

Does this involve the projectionist draping his smelly socks over an air vent which then pumps the aforementioned odor into the cinema

May seem like something totally new and innovative. Russian composer Alexander Scriabin was sort of a rock star of his era and thought to combine light and perfumes into the audience from back in the early 1900s. A brief bio can be found here
