Fractal Define XL vs 12 Gauge shotgun

How solid are the side panels on a Fractal Designs Define XL case? Take a look:



While I've never shot at mine with a shotgun, I can attest to how thick the side panels are.

That is great. I'm not one bit surprised. The first time I took one of the side panels off I dropped it simply because it weighed about three times what I was expecting. In reality, the whole case is built like a rock, and is one of the best engineered cases around.

Im surprised it was able to withstand that. Since watching that video ive been watching 30 mins worth of other videos (ranom gun videos). Ohhh how easy it is to get sidetracked on youtube

When you get a chance to see a Define XL in person, you'll pull off the side panel and think "yeah, the 12 gauge has no chance".
