Tracker V2 problem

Postby slugbug » Thu Jun 14, 2012 12:06 pm

Has anyone experienced this issue before? Computer locks up or has improper shutdown (power failure) and upon reboot the Tracker's config and log files are corrupted. Start up the program and only the SMP folder runs. The GPU clients give an error saying they are both set to the same machine ID as the SMP client. Only way to fix it is to keep copies of the config files to restore them and delete the log files.

Can't say I would even use it. I don't like dealing with 3rd party software. I am not even sure that it is sanctioned by FAH.

I much prefer it to the official FAH clients.

Not yet. The Rok Box was folding the other day when our power went out, but everything seems to be running fine.

I had some problems with Tracker a couple of months ago. Ended up un-installing and re-installing. Haven't had a problem like this though

Figures, just when I say that I haven't had a problem, now my Tracker won't open in the control window. Everything is minimized. When I mouse over the tracker icon on the taskbar, the image of the tracker window pops up, but it just won't open. Haven't looked in the tracker forums yet. That's next

skarm check your task manager. I had that problem before, I just had to end the process then reboot my pc, all was good after that.

First thing I did. No joy. The engine continues to fold, I just don't have a convenient way to turn it on or off or to access the settings.

Does rebooting your PC fix the problem?
