I kind of like the top. But it does drop down the forum a little.

I'm a stickler for symmetry so I like the top better, it seems to fit perfect there. Also it's handy for jumping right to new topics and posts.

I usually use the "View unread posts" button so either one suits me, maybe an option in CP to hide it will be cool
