Sims 3 Anyone? (PC)

I actually bought it for my sister. She plays the mini one on her phone. I figure I'll introduce her to PC gaming again.

It was $20 bucks at EBGames. I thought I was going to be there for a few seconds but it was a 10 minute disclaimer from the girl over the counter about how I cannot return it if the disc gets damaged, I cannot return it if my system can't run it and I cannot return it if it doesn't work on my console, before she rung it in the register. lol

Do they always do that for computer games?
