A 15 year old boy in Columbus, Ohio was hospitalized for dehydration after locking himself in his room and playing an Xbox game for four consecutive days.WCMH-TV(CBS) report that Tyler Rigby collapsed and was rushed to a hospital Tuesday morning after a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 marathon left him severely dehydrated.
- “It’s like he was looking at me but he wasn’t there. It was like he was looking through me,” Jennifer Thompson, Tyler’s aunt, told WCMH. “We were talking and I heard a thump and I looked over and he just fell.” Tyler's mom said that he only came out of his to eat a snack and use the bathroom.
Young Tyler is expected to be doing better after the emergency medics had given the lad plenty of fluids. Doctors mentioned that staying a wake for several days had exacerbated the situation as well.
Needless to say, that Rawlins mom had taken the Xbox away, and it is unlikely that Tyler will be playing any video games soon.
