Bethesda announced on their official blog and at QuakeCon 2012 in Dallas, Texas that the first DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Dawnguard is currently for sale on Steam.
Those that are waiting for the PS3 version of the game, will have to wait a bit longer. Bethesda had announced in a separate blog post that the team was 'not satisfied' with the PS3 version and will be delaying it's release to alleviate the issues.
- "We would like for everyone to have a chance to play Dawnguard, but we aren't going to release it for PS3 knowing that some people's experience in Skyrim will be worse."
Bethesda did not announce an updated time frame or possible release date for the PS3 version, but also sharedthe teams disappoint for its fan base, for not be able to deliver the Dawnguard DLC across all of the gaming platforms at the same time.
