Introducing the redesigned Node 605

Image

After laucnhing the new Node family at Computex in early June, we received valuable feedback with regards to the logo placement on the Node 605 HTPC. We value your opinion and take your feedback very seriously. To keep with the minimalistic and sleek design we pride ourselves on, the Fractal Design development team quickly got to work to make last minute changes to bring you today's redesigned front panel. The concept behind the Node family is to provide a series of cases that can be integrated into your home, giving you both design and entertainment.

Node 605 revealed for the second time!

Design changes:

- New logo placement moved to the bottom right-hand corner to highlight a minimalistic front panel
- Logo colour changed from white to grey for a sleek appeal
- All other features originally outlined will be delivered as promised!

MSRP $159 USD
Will be available in August

About Fractal Design
Without question, computers are more than essential technology – they have become integral to our lives. Computers do more than make living easier; they often define the functionality and design of our offices, our homes, ourselves.

The products we choose represent how we want to describe the world around us, and how we want others to describe us. Many of us are drawn to designs from Scandinavia, which are organized, clean and functional while remaining stylish, sleek and elegant. We like these designs because they harmonize with their surroundings and become nearly transparent. Brands like Georg Jensen, Bang Olufsen, Skagen Watches and Ikea are just a few that represent this Scandinavian style and efficiency. In the world of computers components there is only one name you should know, Fractal Design.

Good that they re-sized the logo and changed it's place. It looks a lot sleeker now :D.

Wooo! Can easily think of 3-5 folks in my neck of the woods that would find this new version of the Fractal Node 605 chassis to be about perfect. It could very well be the subtle changes and overall sleekness to attract their eye and convince them that this would be the one for them.
Thanks Fractal :)

Definitely a sleek and beautiful case. It is very nice that all the I/O ports and slimline drive are hidden.

nice looking case and it looks well laid out as well. Good call on minimizing the appearance of the logo. I would have liked to have the option to add a CD/DVD player - even if it was a slim drive.

Actually there is a slim CD/DVD/BD/whatever option, it's hidden under the lid. It can be seen here (look on the left).
