Looks like a solid mem kit that should be easy to config to deliver solid performance as promised, especially after reading your review about tightening the timings and a modest voltage bump.Should work great on different platforms too.

Yep they look good and do not have the ridiculously extremely tall heat-sinks.

If the Newegg.com price for this set is $149.99 and the Viper 3 is priced at $129.99 for the exact same specs, a $20 difference in price tells me to buy the Viper 3. Unless I specifically need blue heat shields (and I don't), a 15% price difference is pretty much a deal buster.

Otherwise, nice specs on this RAM.

Many people are going to feel that way, however, this is a Limited Edition and is going to demand a premium. For those into the Intel Extreme Masters tourney, $20 is a reasonable upcharge.

I would like to purchase the fastest memory (2133MHz), because I recently bought an Intel Extreme DX79SI Desktop Motherboard, to operate with a processor i7-3960X; because my main area of work is the 3D design.

As an important part of my future workstation are memory, I want to use 64 GB of DDR3 RAM (# of DIMMs: 8), in the technical specifications of my motherboard, indicates that memory can work with "Quad channels" optimum; but:

It is the same install 4 DIMMs of 2133MHz (faster), when the 32GB kit is only for work at 1866MHz (slower)?
Are there any technical differences if you buy and install the DIMMs in pairs instead of four in this kind of DIMMs?
They stop working good on four channels if bought in pairs (faster), although installed in groups of four (slower)?

Strictly speaking any gains in speed or reduced access times between 1600, 1866, and 2133 will be small and barely noticeable. Any difference will be measured in fractions of a second. The only increases I have heard of are with Stanford's FAH project where people have reported reduced times when using DDR3-2133 ram.

My fear is that if I buy 2 kits of 16GB @ 2133MHz, the chips do not have the best performance working in "quad channel".

Humm, I reviewed the Siler board, I don't quite remember if it was capable of handling 64 GB of memory. Actually yes Siler does.

I suggest you use Quad Channel memory since the memory sticks are matched and are binned in the same skew. Not to say that 4 dual skews won't work but you will probably see better stability if you stick to quad channel.

As per how fast it should be, if your doing 3D design and the applications you use are dependent on memory I would say that the 2133 would be fine. With the extra frequency you may eek out a couple of seconds while rendering.
Now as per dual quad single,
As I said above a quad pack is made to work as a quad by the way the modules are picked.

If you use dual channel memory as in your case to get 8 gig sticks, even though they are called dual they will run as quad channel and not dual when populating all the slots.
The IEM kits don't come in 2133 yet, I think the highest you can get is 1866 MHZ for the 8 gig sticks and they are 149.00 for the dual kit. Patriot has told me that there will eventually be a 2133 MHZ kit but as per the launch date they would not say.
You could also save a little money by purchasing the 1600 MHZ kit loosening the timings to that of the 1866 kit and run the dimms at 1866. You will probably save about 50 bucks or more.
